    Discretionary Ligatures

Fedra Mono includes this handy feature which creates real arrows when you type -> (right arrow), <- (left arrow, -^ (up arrow) or ^- (down arrow). It also creates single-space digraphs when you type their component letters. (A digraph is a combination of two letters that represents a single speech sound (phoneme). In some languages digraphs represent separate letters which have their own positions in the alphabet.)

    Slashed zero

To avoid confusion between a zero and a capital O, a slashed zero glyph is available in most Typotheque fonts. It is activated by an OpenType feature.
