Jigsaw type family has two components: Jigsaw Solid — regular text version of the font, and Jigsaw Stencil — version of the font where the characters are divided into separate segments, reminding technical lettering created with a stencil. Both version have identical metrics and kerning information which allows precise layering, where both versions match the outlines of the other. This feature can be creatively played with; have a look at this application of the font by Irma Boom.
