OpenType Requirements

Applications which work with Unicode can benefit from the support built into Typotheque fonts for a large number of languages. Non-Unicode applications (such as older versions of Quark Xpress) will only be able to access the first 256 characters in the font, depending on the specified language setting of your computer. Advanced OpenType features are application-dependent. See this detailed list of supported features.

OpenType TrueType-flavoured fonts are not supported in Mac OS Classic environments (8.x-9.x).
