International orders without paying VAT tax

All the indicated prices on this website exclude VAT (value added tax). As a company registered in the Netherlands, we are obliged to charge VAT on top of the total price if a customer resides in one of the countries of the European Union (EU). Customers from outside the EU do not need to pay VAT. Dutch customers must always pay VAT.

If you are a company registered in the EU, with a valid VAT number, you can avoid paying the tax if you create an account and supply your VAT number before placing an order. If you enter the number in the correct format we are able to verify the number within seconds, and confirm that the VAT number is approved. Once approved, you can place your orders and benefit from 0% VAT applied to your transactions with Typotheque.

Unfortunately we cannot reimburse any VAT retrospectively. Please wait for an email confirming verification of your VAT number prior to ordering.

VAT number is also known as: TVA, BTW, MwSt, IVA, FPA, MOMS, MwST, LW, MVA, UID or DPH, depending on the language you use.
