Typotheque and Vinotheque Announce Merger
Typotheque, a type foundry from the Netherlands, and Vinotheque, a leading wine producer of fine Bordeaux wines, today announced the signing of a definitive merger agreement. Under terms of the proposed transaction, Vinotheque will issue or reserve approximately 18.4 million litres of their vintage Haut-Médoc in exchange for confidential kerning pair information.

"On a long term, our goal is to build a direct pipeline between the estate in France and The Hague," said Mr. Bilak, president and CEO of Typotheque. "Combining the organizations will produce a more dynamic and resource-rich company with an expanded product line, a broader base of customers and a strong balance sheet. There is very little customer overlap, so we will have the opportunity to cross-sell our products and deepen our customer relationships," he said. Following completion of the merger, the expanded company will be headquartered in Château-Margaux and will have operations worldwide.
