Description : Inspired by the books of Italo
Calvino, Dear Reader uses the
reading process as a means for
generating sound, image and
dance movements, inviting you
into the world of letters and
their interpretations. As a
documentation of the dance, a
poster was created using video
stills of the performance. Each
frame shows 3 seconds of the
video (with superimposed frames
of the duration), so the rhythm
of the dance piece can be ‘read’
from the poster. One line shows
about 30 seconds of the dance and
the entire poster presents the
complete duration of the dance
piece.
