Fedra Sans Display contains a set of ligatures designed for use at larger sizes. Besides the standard ligatures which eliminate conflicting letter combinations (fi, ffi, ffl, fk, fh, ff), each version includes over 300 capital ligatures. Most commonly accented characters are supported, so these ligatures are not only useful in English but also in most European languages. These ligatures are accessible as discretionary ligatures (in OpenType) or as individual glyphs in Expert sets, as well as a set of ornaments and superior letters. Because of this feature, Fedra Display is ideally suited for large headline settings where space is limited, and a strong, contemporary appearance is desired.
