Ton Croiset van Uchelen is a former chief curator of Rare & Precious Works at the University Library of Amsterdam. From 1971 to 2011, Van Uchelen was editor of the international book magazine Quaerendo. He is the author of the book on the work of the master calligrapher Felix van Sambix (1553-1642).
