Thesaurus, a typeface with one foot in the past & one foot in the present
Thesaurus is a typeface inspired by the typographic history of the city of Geneva.

Thesaurus and Thesaurus Display blend particular features of the original metal types used by the Estiennes with more contemporary characteristics such as a large x-height, narrower forms and increased modulation. The result is a versatile typeface with a rational flavour, with one foot in the past and one foot in the present.

Thesaurus is based on the types that Robert Estienne brought from Paris to Geneva, and in some way, serve as a bridge between France and Switzerland, between Catholicism and Protestantism, and now, through Thesaurus, between past and present. Thesaurus was designed by FermÃn Guerrero.
