Felix van Sambix (1553, Antwerp – Delft, 1642) was one of the finest writing masters and calligraphers of the Dutch Republic. He gained respect and admiration for his manuscripts and engavings, which are extremely hard to find today. After 50 years of research, author Ton Croiset van Uchelen, former chief curator of the Amsterdam University Library, was able to trace over 200 sheets with specimens Van Sambix work.
