Typotheque specimen No.18 present the geometric multilingual typeface family Ping. This 36-pages brochure exists in four colour versions — fluorescent yellow, fluorescent orange, fluorescent green and olive, designed by Sascha Lobe of Pentagram in London. The left pages of the specimen present the factual information about Ping, while the right pages are treated like small typographic posters. The brochure includes an essay by Peter Biľak, called ‘A brief history of Sans serif typefaces’.
Catalogue of an accompanying exhibition of the 22nd International Biennale of Graphic Design Brno 2006. The exhibition critically questions possibilities of organising graphic design exhibitions today, and documents reactions of invited designers.
