World Poem

This book is a celebration of cultural diversity, as well as a presentation of the Typotheque typeface collection, both current and upcoming fonts. Indian poet Tishani Doshi wrote the poem to an exact word count — one word for each page — based on the number of languages that Typotheque fonts support, and then we reached out to a wide community to translate each word of the poem into 162 languages. Designed by Atelier Carvalho Bernau, printed in 11 Pantone colours, the book contains an introduction to 21 world writing scripts. Read more about the process here.
