Design Concept
Tremolo is a narrow, eclectic typeface that explores new territories of type design. It can render text as austere or friendly, printed or painted—different styles and voices packed into a single design. The Text version is a workhorse typeface, while the Gradient styles with interlocking top and bottom styles, and Shadow styles with separate styles for the top and bottom layer are designed for chromatic typography.

OpenType features
Unlike other Typotheque fonts, Tremolo Gradient comes with a reduced character set with just over 500 glyphs per style. No Small Caps, and just basic ligatures. If you require advanced typographic features, consider using the Text version.
Numerals
All weights of Tremolo Gradient include just two different kinds of numerals. Proportional Old-style figures come as default figures in Tremolo Gradient, complemented with Proportional Lining numerals selectable with OpenType features.
Author
Tremolo typeface family was published in 2015, designed by Nikola Djurek. In 2016, it has been awarded Type Directors Club’s certificate of Typographic Excellence.
