Hedah organizes monthly exhibitions of visual art in two different locations in Maastricht. The inspiration for the cards came from the physical aspect of the gallery: after each exhibition, traces of the show remain for other artists to interact with, causing a kind of cumulative effect. The invitation cards mimic the physical space of the gallery, gradually adding to the space of the card, keeping all the previous information about the past exhibitions. Although this is a very low-budget project, the result is a 12-PMS colour print which showsall the exhibitions. The design process was fairly unpredictable as information about the shows was not available far in advance, but only days before the card was printed.
