Hanzi


Hanzi is a Chinese name for Chinese characters, literary meaning 'Han characters’, a logographic writing system that uses tens of thousands of characters. Besides China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Taiwan, they are also used in Japan, where they are known as Kanji and occasionally also in Korea, where they are known as Hanja.
