Geometric Slab Fonts
Later development of slab serifs introduced a monoline structure similar to geometric sans serifs around this time, with serifs matching the weight of the stems. Examples include Memphis (D. Stempel, 1929), Rockwell (Monotype, 1934) and Beton (Bauer, 1929). These are called geometric slabs. Examples of geometric slab serif fonts from the Typotheque collection:
