At the turn of the 20th century, Vienna established itself as its center of power, and the multi-ethnic Habsburg Monarchy experienced a lively exchange of art and culture between Vienna and the cities such as Zagreb. An exhibition of Central European art from the period was on display in Lower Belvedere in Vienna, and the printed catalogue is using Delvard typeface, which subtly plays with Vienna Secession and Croatian Art Nouveau styles. Austrian designer Manuel Radde designed the accompanying exhibition catalogue, using a combination of Delvard, Delvard Display for titles with its many alternative glyphs, as well as for the main text.
