ලෝකය යනු මහ පොළොව සහ මානව ශිෂ්ටාචාරය ද ඇතුළුව, එහි වසන සියළුම ජීවය වේ. මහ පොළොව හෙවත් පෘථිවිය සූර්යයාගේ සිට පිළිවෙලින් 3 වැනි ග්‍රහලෝකයයි. එය සෞරග්‍රහ මණ්ඩලයේ ඇති ග්‍රහලෝක 8 න් ඝණත්වයෙන් වැඩිම සහ 5 වැනි විශාලම ග්‍රහලොවයි. එමෙන්ම එය සෞරග්‍රහ මණ්ඩලයේ ඇති භූමියක් සහිත ග්‍රහලෝක අතුරින් විශාලතම ග්‍රහලොවයි. සමහර අවස්ථා වලදී එය ලෝකය, නිල් ග්‍රහලොව, හෝ එහි ලතින් නාමය වන “ටෙරා” යන නම් වලින් හඳුන්වයි. මිනිසා ඇතුළු සත්ව විශේෂ මිලියන ගණනකට නිවහන වන පෘථිවිය දැනට සොයාගෙන ඇති පරිදි ජීවය පවතින එකම ආකාශ වස්තුවයි. මෙම ග්‍රහලෝකය මීට අවුරුදු බිලියන 4.54 කට පෙර නිර්මාණය වුණු අතර අදට අවුරුදු බිලියනයකට පෙර පෘථිවි පෘෂ්ඨය මත ජීවය බිහි විය. වර්තමාන කාලයේ අහසේ උස මැනීම සහ අගාධ මිතිය. ජාතික භෞතික දත්ත මධ්‍යස්ථානයේ භූමි භාග පදනමේ ඩිජිටල් ටෙරේන් මොඩලයනි. පොළවේ භූමි ප්‍රදේශය තැනින් තැන මහත් වෙනස්කම්වලින් යුතුවේ. පොළව මතුපිට 70.8% ජලයෙන් යටවී ඇති අතර වඩාත් මහද්වීපික ගල්පර පිහිටා ඇත්තේ මුහුදු මට්ටමට පහලින්ය. ලෝපුරා ජලයෙන් යටවූ ප්‍රදේශවල සාගරය මැද විහිදුන කඳුවැටි පන්ති, මුහුද යට ඇති ගිනිකඳු, සාගර අඟල්, මුහුදු යට කඳු අතර ඇති විශාල වළවල්, තැනිතලා සහ ආගාධ ඇතුළු අංගයන්ගෙන් යුක්තය. ජලයෙන් යට ‍නොවී ඇති ඉතිරි 29.2% වූ ප්‍රදේශය කඳු, කාන්තාර, තැනිතලා සහ වෙනත් දැයින් යුක්තය. ග්‍රහලෝකවල පිටතලය ටෙ‍ක්ටෝනික් හා සෝදා පාලුව නිසා භූ විද්‍යාත්මකව කාලයක් තිස්සේ නැවත හැඩ ගැසෙමින් පවතී. තැටි හෝ ටෙක්ටොනික් මඟින් සෑදුණු හෝ අංග වෙනස් වී පිටිතල අංග යටට බේරීමෙන්දැඩි දේශගුණික අවස්ථාවන්ට අනුගතවීම සිදුවේ. උෂ්ණත්වය සහ රසායනික හේතූන් නිසා හිමි දියවීම, වෙරළ ඛාදනය, කොරල් වැටි විනාශ වීම සහ විශාල උල්කාපාත ගැටීම් ද භූමි දර්‍ශනය වෙනස් වීමට හේතු වේ. මහාද්වීපික පෘථිවිතල ග්‍රහලෝකය හරහා යෑමෙන් සාගර පතුල යට ප්‍රධාන මායිම් ඇතිවීමත්, ඒ අතරම ආවරණ ද්‍රව්‍ය ඇතිවීමත් හේතුවෙන් එකිනෙකට වෙනස් සීමාවන් සාගර මැද දිගටම ඇතිවේ. මේ ක්‍රම සම්බන්ධවීමෙන් සාගර පෘථිවිතල දිගටම ඇතිවේ.

October Condensed is a space-saving typeface family with fully rounded corner terminals and approachable character, suitable for complex signage and information display, as well as branding projects. October is a highly functional typeface for complex information display, and has distinct and unambiguous letter shapes that aid legibility and a soft and friendly character that makes the presented information appealing and emotionally accessible to a wide public.

October Condensed is part of Typotheque’s <a href="https://www.typotheque.com/fonts/global">Global Font collection</a> supporting hundreds of languages and various writing scripts. In the long term, it is intended that October will support all living languages with a community of active speakers. Currently, October supports the following writing scripts: Arabic, Armenian, Bangla, Canadian Syllabic, Cyrillic, Devanagari, Georgian, Greek, Gujarati, Gurmukhi, Hebrew, IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), Kannada, Latin, Malayalam, Odia, Ol Chiki, Tamil, Telugu, and Thai. We are working on extending the language to other writing scripts, including Chinese. This makes October an unprecedented design project.

October Condensed is available in three logical widths, which offer a complete typographic palette for the most demanding designers. The condensed and compressed versions solve the problem of setting long words and sentences next to short words set in the regular width version of October. A variable font version allows you to choose any width in between.

October also supports the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), featuring a comprehensive repertoire of glyphs for the transcription of linguistic data. The font also covers First Nations roman orthographies of Indigenous languages spoken in Canada (Wakashan, Algonquian, Salishan, Tsimshianic, Iroquoian, and Eskaleut languages) and, additionally, it covers African Indigenous roman orthographies for languages such as Hausa, Igbo, Akan, Kabiye, Ewe, etc. The IPA support is embedded inside the Latin fonts and every other language version, so you don’t need a separate licence for it.

October Condensed typeface can be personalised with alternative forms of letters available as Stylistic Sets, controllable via OpenType layout feature settings in your applications, or you can build a custom version of the fonts by using these stylistic alternates in a default position.

Each weight of October Condensed includes nine different kinds of numerals. Proportional lining figures come as default figures in October. It also, however, includes old-style figures, tabular numerals (both lining and old-style), small caps numerals, superior, inferior, circled and circled inverted numerals. For running text, old-style figures work best; for use in capital setting, use lining figures, and with the small caps, choose the specially designed Small Caps numerals applicable via OpenType layout features. When you take a licence for this font, you can choose your own default numeral variant.

The November Type system consists of ten font families, each available in nine weights, and countless language versions. It all started with <a href="https://www.typotheque.com/fonts/november">November</a>, a rational, utilitarian typeface inspired by street signs, and it continued with <a href="https://www.typotheque.com/fonts/october">October</a>, a soft and rounded typeface, each available in three logical widths. <a href="https://www.typotheque.com/fonts/november_slab">November Slab</a> is a robust slab serif version that works well in headlines and shorter text, and finally there is <a href="https://www.typotheque.com/fonts/november_stencil/">November Stencil</a>, useful for large text and display, and providing opportunities to work with chromatic typography.
