Design Concept

Tesla Mono, a constructed monospaced slab serif typeface with smooth curves, true italics, which gives text an unexpectedly sophisticated industrial look in all of its six weights.

Tesla type family comes in a sturdy Slab version, a Stencil version for headline purposes, uncompromising Monospaced version, and attention-grabbing Caps version. Combined, they offer complete typographic palette for the most demanding designers.

International Typography

Besides extended Latin, Tesla Mono supports also the Cyrillic script with Russian letterforms coming as default, and localised forms for Bulgarian and Serbian coming as OpenType substritution features.

Tesla Mono Cyrillic


All weights of Tesla Mono include six different kinds of numerals. Tabular Lining figures come as default figures in Tesla Mono. It also, however, includes Old-style figures, superior, inferior, circled and circled inverted numerals (selectable via OpenType features).

Tesla Mono typeface family was published in 2015, designed by Nikola Djurek. Cyrillic version was designed by Ilya Ruderman.
