Typotheque works with text in a number of ways — first and foremost, we develop fonts that support multiple languages, and secondly, we also write and publish essays on various aspects of design and typography. Then there are also smaller experiments where we question the limits of what constitutes a typeface, and where text stops being text, (for example, our Dance Writer online application).

And now we are pleased to present Image and Text, a new website that experiments with the power of text and images. It is intriguing to see how text can modify our understanding of images, and how a single image can be interpreted in multiple ways. And of course, we did it also because it is simply fun. Enjoy.
