In its most general sense, the term ‘world’ refers to the totality of entities, to the whole of reality or to everything that is. The nature of the world has been conceptualized differently in different fields. Some conceptions see the world as unique while others talk of a ‘plurality of worlds’. Some treat the world as one simple object while others analyze the world as a complex made up of many parts. In scientific cosmology the world or universe is commonly defined as ’the totality of all space and time; all that is, has been, and will be’. Theories of modality, on the other hand, talk of possible worlds as complete and consistent ways how things could have been. Phenomenology, starting from the horizon of co-given objects present in the periphery of every experience, defines the world as the biggest horizon or the ‘horizon of all horizons’. In philosophy of mind, the world is commonly contrasted with the mind as that which is represented by the mind. Theology conceptualizes the world in relation to God, for example, as God’s creation, as identical to God or as the two being interdependent. In religions, there is often a tendency to downgrade the material or sensory world in favor of a spiritual world to be sought through religious practice. A comprehensive representation of the world and our place in it, as is commonly found in religions, is known as a worldview. Cosmogony is the field that studies the origin or creation of the world while eschatology refers to the science or doctrine of the last things or of the end of the world.

Design Concept

Greta Sans is designed as a continuous optical size system. While the basic text styles (Regular) are spaced and optimised more loosely for use at small sizes, the surrounding extremes (Hairline, Black) are designed to be used as display types, and are therefore spaced and kerned tightly. The resulting spectrum then runs continuously from Display to Text to Display use. The chart shows the minimal recommended point size for each style of Greta Sans.

Continuous Optical sizes

Each weight of Greta Sans Extended includes nine different kinds of numerals. Proportional lining figures come as default figures in Greta Sans. It also, however, includes old-style figures, tabular numerals (both lining and old-style), small caps numerals, superior, inferior, circled and circled inverted numerals. For the running text, old-style figures work best; for capital setting, use lining figures; and for small caps, choose the specially designed Small Caps numerals applicable via OpenType layout features. When you take a licence for this font you can choose the default numeral variants inside the fonts.

Greta Symbol is a separate font that extends the Greta Sans family with a unique collection of thousands of useful symbols and alphanumerical characters available as icon fonts, assembling a collection that covers over 1,200 symbols per style. Most of the symbols come in a range of ten weights, an unprecedented example of the application of typeface family conventions to a symbol font. This comprehensive family of fonts includes arrows, pictograms, alphanumeric symbols, weather symbols, chess figurines, geometrical shapes, zodiac signs in various styles and many other surprising symbols.

العالم هو الاسم الشائع لكوكب الأرض أن ينظر إليها من وجهة النظر الإنسانية، باعتباره مكانا يعيش فيه الإنسان. فإنه كثيراً ما يستخدم للدلالة على مجموع خبرات الإنسان والتاريخ، أو مجموع الدول، أو أحوال البشر، وأوضاع المجتمع الإنساني بصفة عامة. ويتكوّن سطح العالم من الماء والأرض، كما تحيط به طبقات من الغلاف الغازي تمتد في الفضاء الخارجي. ويوجد أغلب الماء في المحيطات التي تغطي أكبر مساحة من سطح الأرض. وتفصل هذه المحيطات بين كتل هائلة من الأرض الصلبّة يُطلق عليها اسم القارات، وبين كتل أخرى صغيرة يطلق عليها اسم الجزر. توجد معظم دول العالم داخل حدود القارات. الأرض هِي الْمَكَان الْوَحِيْد فِي الْكَوْن الْمَعْرُوْف بأن فيه الْحَيَاة الْبَشَرِيَّة فِي الْوُجُوْد. وتبين الأدلة الْعِلْمِيَّة أَن هَذَا الْكَوْكَب تشكل قَبْل 4.6 مليار سنة. وَيَبْدُو أَن الْحَيَاة عَلَى سَطْحِه قد ظهرت فِي غُضُوْن مِلْيَارَات الْسَّنَوَات. وعبر عصور التاريخ أثر المحيط الحيوي للأرض على الحياة في الأرض كما تأثرت الحياة علي الأرض بتغيرات المناخ والمحيط الحيوي. ويشمل المحيط الحيوي نشأة وتررع الأحياء على الأرض من نبات وحيوان، وعبر العصور َحْدَثت تَغْيِيرات كَبِيرة في مَنَأخ الأرض والظروف الأخرى غير المتعلقة بالأحياء مثل البراكين والزلازل وانزياح القارات ونشأة الجبال والمحيطات والبحار عَلَى كَوْكَب الأَرْض، مِمَّا مُكِّن مِن انْتِشَار الْكَائِنَات الخفيفة الطيارة مثل حبوب اللقاح والخلايا الأولية، فَضْلا على تشكيل طبقة الأوزون. ويعمل المجال المغناطيسي للأرض على إزاحة الجسيمات الأولية الضارة للكائنات الحية، وإزاحتها عن الأرض في أغوار الفضاء. بذلك نشات الحياة عَلَى الأرض. كما تمتص طبقة الأوزون في طبقات عليا الأشعة فوق البنفسجية الضارة أيضا باالكائنات الحية والإنسان. وتشكلت القارات على هيئة الصفائح التكتونية طافية فوق الصهارة المكونة للغلاف الأرضي الكروي الشكل.
