Yes, there are various ways to receive discounts for fonts. When you become a Typotheque Club member, you can receive 50% discount on pre-release fonts. Members also benefit from the 25% off introductory pricing for newly published fonts. And finally, when you accumulate enough points, you can convert them to discount codes.

Yes, the pre-release fonts come with a commercial licence, and are available at a 50% discount. After publication, the pre-release fonts will be replaced by the released version.

No, trial fonts are for evaluation purposes only. If you plan to use the fonts commercially, you will need to purchase a licence for these fonts.

The points expire after 24 months, but the period of validity can be extended by making an online font purchase. As long as you place an order for a font or fonts at least once every two years, the points will never expire.

Yes, you can download trial Typotheque fonts. Just go to the font presentation page, and click on Try button. If you are a member of Typotheque Club, and have achieved at least 40 points, these trial fonts will come with a full character set and advanced typographic features. If you are not yet a member, or you have fewer than 40 points, the trial fonts will be available with a limited character set.

Anyone can become a member. There are no costs involved. If you already have a Typotheque online account, you can join the club in just a click. Members will immediately be able to access fonts that are in development at a 50% discount, connect with Typotheque designers for private presentations of new releases, and receive a special -25% introductory price for new fonts. When a certain number of points is achieved, various rewards will be unlocked.

There are multiple ways to earn points. When you become a member of the club, you will receive 10 points as a welcome bonus. For signing up to the Typotheque mailing list, you will receive another 10 points. For each example you share of a font in use, you will receive 10 points. Points can be earned by referring fonts to others, and, finally, you will receive points for each font you order – one point for each €10 spent.

Typotheque carries out research into and develops fonts for digitally disadvantaged languages, contributing to global linguistic diversity, even when there is little financial incentive. We need your help to make these long-term projects sustainable, with direct support via crowdfunding. Typotheque Club members can use their points to help fund these projects, and via the crowdfunder choose a reward in return for their donated points. If the crowdfunder target is not reached, the points are simply refunded to you. If the project succeeds in reaching its funding goal, Typotheque will work on the project, provide project updates, and after completion of the project, all backers will receive their chosen reward.

Typotheque Club members can benefit from the special 25% discount on newly published fonts for 14 days from the date the fonts are published.

You can download up to 10 font full packages a day, and try them out for as long as you like.

A set of member benefits are available immediately for all members, for example, access to fonts in development at a 50% discount, the chance to connect with Typotheque designers for private presentations of new releases, and a special -25% introductory price for new fonts. Members receive a point for each €10 spent on font licensing; after reaching 30 points, they can choose to get a free printed type specimen, and at 40 points, members can download the full version of any Typotheque fonts. Reach 100 or more points, and a number of discount codes are unlocked. In addition, members have the chance to contribute to the development of marginalised writing scripts via our crowdfunder.

The crowdfunding project needs to meet the funding goal by the funding deadline. Unfunded projects will be terminated.

Typotheque Club is a loyalty programme with a social aspect. It brings font users and font makers closer to each other. Members earn points for each online purchase, font referral, or sharing examples of fonts in use. The earned points can then be redeemed for printed type specimens or discounts, or they can be used to contribute to the development of marginalised writing scripts via one of our crowdfunding campaigns.
