Each member receives a unique referral code, which can be appended to the URL of a Typotheque font, so you can refer the font to other people. When people use the link that contains your referral code, and go on to buy a font, we record the transaction, and you receive 10% of the font price paid. For example, if someone buys a font for €100, you will receive 10 points, which can then be redeemed against the various rewards.I can’t find the font I am looking for.
We publish new fonts, we revise current ones, and occasionally we will also remove some. For example, in 2023, we retired our manually hinted TrueType fonts, which we originally created for Windows XP rasterisers. In 2019, we stopped using the Std/Pro font suffixes, and replaced them by descriptive suffixes[https://www.typotheque.com/blog/standardised_language_script_suffixes], indicating language support. L suffix replaced Std, and LCG replaced the Pro suffix. Below is a list of fonts that we have modified, and which font we recommend is used instead. Fedra Mono Screen → Retired. Design applications such as Adobe InDesign and Illustrator offer an option to view the glyphs pallet, and manually select the symbols you need. Text editors, such as Apple Pages, don’t come with such options, and in this case you would need to type the character you need directly. Go to a specific font presentation page to view the glyphs the fonts contain, and when you find the character you need, you can copy and paste it, if it has a Unicode code point.Who needs to buy the font licence, the client or the designer?
Fonts fall into the category of software, which means that everyone who uses them needs to have a licence. If a designer is making a poster for a client, it is the designer (as user of the font), not the client, who needs to buy a font licence. If the client also wishes to use the fonts, they too will need to purchase their own licences.Do you offer free trials of webfonts?

Typotheque webfonts can be used in HTML emails; however, you need to be aware that not all email clients support webfonts. While some newer ones, such as Apple Mail and Outlook, do support webfonts, many others, such as Gmail and Yahoo Mail, do not. This means that if you use a webfont in your HTML email, it is unlikely to be displayed correctly for all users. Can I cancel or change my funding pledge?

What do I receive when I buy a font?
To buy a font licence, you’ll need to register for a Typotheque online account. After placing a successful order, you can download the fonts that you ordered, as well as the invoice and the licence agreement. Those files will also always be available via your online account, and serve as your back-up.Do you monitor the number of page views?
Hosted webfonts remain on a remote network of servers (CDN), and we log the number of server requests in order to calculate the number of page views. With self-hosted webfonts, we don’t monitor the use of webfonts, and the client is responsible for choosing the correct tier of monthly page views. Should you exceed the monthly limit for two months in a row, we expect you to upgrade your webfont licence. We use tools to help us estimate the website traffic, such as www.similarweb.com and www.semrush.com, to ensure you use the correct webfont tier.
