Ilya Ruderman studies at the Moscow State University of Print under Alexander Tarbeev, and received MA degree from the Type & Media course at the Royal Academy of Art (Koninklijke Academie Van Beeldende Kunsten) in The Hague. He has designed a number of Cyrillic additions to Typotheque fonts, most notably History, Parmigiano, Lava.
